Regarding your PPP Loan
FirstOak Bank has become aware that our customers have been being solicited by other lenders showing the amount of PPP loan a customer received and identifies FirstOak Bank by name as the lender. These letters can be confusing.
What you should know: FirstOak Bank would never share your information! The SBA was required by law to share all PPP information publicly and we assume this is where these other lenders received this information.

The IRS announced that the third round of economic impact payments will begin reaching Americans over the next week, and that some direct deposit payments already arrived.
“Additional batches of payments will be sent in the coming weeks by direct deposit and through the mail as a check or debit card. The vast majority of these payments will be by direct deposit,” the IRS said. “Some Americans may see the direct deposit payments as pending or as provisional payments in their accounts before the official payment date of March 17.”

COVID-19 FIRSTOAK BANK PUBLIC STATEMENT
We are all beginning the transition to our “new normal.” As we navigate these uncharted waters, it is our hope that we can come together as a community to ensure the well-being of others. FirstOak Bank is devising a thorough reopening plan focused on keeping our employees and customers as safe as possible by following the regulations set forth by the State of Kansas, the State of Colorado, and the Center for Disease Control (CDC). Part of this transition plan will include our employees wearing masks and maintaining a 6 foot distance from our customers at all times. We want to assure all of you that despite these modifications, our customer service and customer satisfaction will maintain the high standards that FirstOak Bank is known for.
As we start to open our lobbies to the public, we strongly encourage all customers to wear masks and to be mindful of social distancing guidelines: maintaining 6 feet distance from other customers and FirstOak staff. We are proud to be a part of such a vibrant and close knit community that is unified in prioritizing the safety of those around us.
Whenever possible, please continue to use the convenience of online banking at www.firstoakbank.com and our mobile app to check your account, view transactions, pay bills and even make deposits. If you’d like to sign up, visit our website or call (620) 331-2265.

CORONAVIRUS PREPAREDNESS STATEMENT
FirstOak Bank is actively monitoring the coronavirus outbreak, and will make every effort to
maintain normal work hours during this crisis. However, management recognizes that there are
circumstances when this may not be advisable as the safety and welfare of our employees and
customers is our first priority. We will maintain close communication with local health officials
and other banking partners to continue to monitor this challenging situation.
At this time, no immediate changes in services are expected as there are no suspected or
confirmed cases of the virus in the locations of our banks. The Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention (CDC) has provided the following guidance for the best methods of protecting
against possible infection:
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth [with unwashed hands].
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces [such as your laptop or cell
phone]. - Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to
the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. - If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least
60% alcohol. Always wash hands with soap and water if hands are potentially dirty.”
Hand sanitizers are located in the lobbies of all bank locations and other cleaning precautions are
being taken to aid in maintaining a healthy work environment. We will continue to keep a watch on
daily events and alerts from the CDC and will provide you with updates and additional guidance as
necessary.

Message from the President –
To all State Bank of Kansas customers,
First off, I want to welcome you to our family here at FirstOak Bank as new customers. We are excited to have “your bank become our bank.” Jac and Paula retired effective May 3rd, and we wish them well in their travels. The same State Bank staff will remain our staff and continue to serve you going forward.
You will see slight differences in the deposit accounts and fee structure that you have been accustomed to, and more specific details on that will be sent to you in a separate mailing in-May. FirstOak Bank will also offer some new line of products that will become available in late July. Those products include mobile banking, and mobile deposit capture.
Thank you for your patience with us during this transition as we will do our best to make the process as seamless as possible. I am optimistic that we will all grow together in this rapidly changing financial environment.

FirstOak Bank earns Top 100 Ranking and 5-Star Rating
Wednesday, May 10, 2017
FirstOak Bank is a family-owned, community bank committed to exceeding your expectations in servicing your financial needs and protecting your money. In 2016, our bank received a “Top 100” ranking of the best performing community banks under $1B in total assets in the United States. FirstOak was ranked #56 out of approximately 5,800 community banks in this category across the nation. That ranking put us in the Top 1% of our peer group for the year 2016.
We are also proud to be consistently rated a 5-Star Bank by Bauer Financial, an independent bank ratings service that rates community financial institutions for safety and soundness.
The Independence community has also honored our bank as the chosen bank in the Independence Daily Reporter’s 2017 HotList for financial institutions. This award is particularly meaningful because it is the result of an annual survey of our customers and local community. Thanks again to our customers for helping us achieve these prestigious honors as a community banking organization.
